St Patrick's @ Cantina San Benito

Fret & Fiddle

It's the big day. Join us for a feast of music, food and and fun at Cantina San Benito. We'll be celebrating the big day with our very best friends and a couple of pints. It's true, St Patrick's day is Tuesday, and it is a school day, but we'll wrap up in plenty of time to get rested up, so don't be square. Be there!

Fun fact: Corned beef and cabbage is not really the favored holiday meal for St. Patrick's Day in Ireland. Instead, a type of bacon, more like ham, is more customary. Perhaps Irish immigrants in New York City substituted corned beef, which they could buy locally for less. Salt-cured beef is a traditional Irish dish, but pork has been more widely available in Ireland.

But that's neither here nor there, I'll probably have tacos. Come on down and help us banish misfortune for the rest of the year.
